It’s very important to keep up on oral hygiene, especially because oral hygiene can help you have the strong and healthy smile you deserve. However, your oral hygiene routine won’t be as effective as you need it to be if you don’t do the proper things. So, our dentist, Dr. Destiny Rockwood, is happy to help you have a top-notch oral hygiene routine by mentioning the things you should do each morning and night.

Morning routine

-Brush your teeth for two minutes with a soft-bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste.

-Rinse your mouth with mouthwash if you desire an even fresher breath.

Night routine

-Brush your teeth with the same toothbrush and toothpaste you use in the morning. Scrub the entire surface of each tooth. If you need to, split your brushing routine into quadrants so you spend an equal amount of time brushing each tooth. Make sure to brush for two minutes.

-Floss your teeth. By careful while you floss because forcing the floss into place can damage the gums. Make sure to clean between every tooth and along the gumline.

-Rinse your mouth with mouthwash if you want to further the cleaning job and if you did not rinse in the morning.
